About Mais La TV
Mais La TV embraces the spirit of Louisianas golden age of local television. Lafayettes TV history is rich with imaginative local programming; for example, the 1960s childrens show Polycarp and Pals famously featured original skits and recurring characters along with Morgus the Magnificent and the Great Boudini, Mais La TVtaps into that tradition with its unique blend of Acadiana humor, nostalgia, and vintage variety-show style and mixes it with contemporary "Adult Swim" writing and animation. The series is the brainchild of Ash Reese a Lafayette writer and independent filmmaker, and TV showrunner known as a viral content creator and pioneer of Cajun dubs who leads the project alongside David Mouton, a prominent figure in Louisiana's Music Culture. While this live showcase is a special one-night event, Mais La TV is currently being developed for wider commercial and streaming release, promising to bring Acadiana-style entertainment to audiences beyond the bayou.
