Brook Lanes main campus is home to the second-largest psychiatric hospital in Maryland, dedicated to serving children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges. The facility offers a comprehensive range of services, including a residential program for children and adolescents, partial hospitalization services, and Title 1 special education schools in Washington County and Frederick County. Additionally, Brook Lane operates three outpatient locations in Hagerstown, Frederick, and Cumberland, providing psychiatry services and therapy for individuals of all ages. The InSTEP program at Brook Lane further extends these services by offering outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment options for individuals grappling with substance use disorders.

Dr. Azam earned his Medical Degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada in 2012, followed by a residency in psychiatry at Howard University, which he completed in 2016. He also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Medical Science from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. 

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Azam is licensed to practice in Maryland, Michigan, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, and Virginia, positioning him as a versatile and skilled practitioner in the field of psychiatry.
